《アジア国際友好展2017》は、《 クロスアジア・クロスアイデンティティ》と題し、東京のエコギャラリー新宿にて、インドネシア芸術文化大学バンドゥン校（ＩＳＢＩ Ｂａｎｄｕｎｇ）の講師と学生、デデ・ダダ・ビンタロ・ジャカルタ（de Dada Bintaro Jakarta）より5名の作家, アルミ二（Alumni-ISBI bandung)より4名の作家、テレコム大学（Telekom University）、マラナタキリスト教大学（Maranatha Cristian University）より学生の作品、アジア招致アーティスト、インバリッド・アーバン（Invalid Urban）、チュチュ・ウィジャジャ（Tjutju Widjaja）、また、国立インドネシアの高校より6点の秀作、合計およそ60点にもおよぶインドネシアからの現代アートの作品と日本のアーティストら作品およそ70点とのコラボレーションにより展示開催されました。
　本展は《クロス・アジア・クロス・アイデンティティ》を主題とし、日本の作品は《多様なるアジアの美術－伝統/革新、そして、現代アートへの融合》とテーマづけられています。この展覧会の意義は、日本とインドネシアにおける現代アートの兆候、そして、現代アーティストらが創り出す作品テーマ、同時に両国の美術教育方向性を垣間みる機会でもあり、日本で催される展覧会のなかでも、インドネシアからのアーティストらと対話が可能なとても貴重な展覧会の一つでもあります。本展が重要な展覧会である理由のひとつに、日本においてアジアの美術を学ぶ機会がとても少ないことが指摘されます。とりわけ、日本でアジア美術への関心が高まっていったのは、1990年以降であり、主に、アジアにおける近代美術史の展覧会に端を発し、その後は、アジアにおける現代アートの展覧会が催されてきました。アジアの美術に対して、多くは異文化に対するエキゾチシズム、そして、失われた伝統に対するノスタルジー、または、アジア圏に共通する特有の西洋由来の「美術」に対する近代と伝統という普遍的な問題としたテーマが重要視されてきました。
　しかし、現代アジア作家たちが近代と伝統という問題だけにとらわれているのではなく、むしろ、各々の作家が何を目的に何をテーマに作品を作りだし、また、どのようなアートを美術教育のなかで伝えていくべきかを問いかけます。《多様なるインドネシアの現代アート》と題された作品群は、インドネシア独自の美術性と存在と輝きを放っていると考えられます。これらのアート作品の輝きは、インドネシアの現代アーティストらが各々に持つ、共同体、もしくはインドネシア国家への帰属意識（アイデンティティ）にあり、我々、日本人のアイデンティティとは異なります。クロス・アジア・クロス・アイデンティティというテーマを通じて、日本の若手アーティストが「アジアの現代美術とは何か」そして、私たち日本人にとって、
「アートとは何か」を今一度、問いかける機会になると期待されます。

[ What is Cross Asia Cross Identity and Asian contemporary art…　]

This year's Asia International Friendship Exhibition, Indonesia art works entitlement of "The Diversity of Indonesian Contemporary Art" exhibition at Eco Gallery Shinjuku in Tokyo. Asia International Friendship Exhibition to invite lectures and youngest artists from ISBI Bandung，de Dada Bintaro Jakarta，Alumni(ISBI bandung),Telkom University, Maranatha Cristian University，as invitation Artists
Tjutju Widjaja and Invalid Urban also National Indonesian High Schools.
This Year’s collaborated with Indonesian and Japanese artists, youngest artists and students, also more than 60 pieces excellent art works exhibited from Indonesian artworks and more than 70 pieces from Japanese artworks. The theme of this exhibition is "Cross Asia Cross Identity", and Japanese art works entitlement of " Diversity of Art in Japan：tradition/ innovation and fusion into new media and
contemporary art".The significance of this exhibition, indications of contemporary art
in Japan and Indonesia,how theme created by contemporary artists, and opportunities to be understood the direction of art education in both countries.
Among the exhibitions held in Japan, it is considered a very valuable exhibition that is possible to direct dialogue with lectures and artists from Indonesia.
And one of the reasons that is very valuable, because the knowledge and understanding of about Indonesia art in Japan.
As an important thing in this exhibition is that Indonesian contemporary art
without being caught by modern and traditional. Add thoughts each Indonesian contemporary artists, understanding of direction art works concept.
In other words, it is also the purpose of art education. Through of Asia International
Friendship Exhibition, also Japanese catch and discover with wonderful glow from the Indonesia art works.
Because Indonesian contemporary artists has their own identity as belonging to the
sociality and community. It is also different from Japanese
artist’s identity. Through the Indonesian art work "The Diversity of Indonesian
Contemporary Art", understanding multicultural and globalization, and also Japanese
youngest artists feel so catch "Cross Asia Cross Identity "from Indonesian contemporary art. This theme is expected to be an opportunity for Japanese
youngest artists to ask for something "What is important about Asian contemporary art"
